Wetech is a community-driven non-profit empowering African women in technology. We provide mentorship, hands-on events, career opportunities, and training programs to help women thrive in tech and entrepreneurship.
Anyone passionate about technology, innovation, or personal growth can join, no prior tech experience is required. Whether you’re a student, entrepreneur, switching careers or simply curious about tech, there’s a place for you at Wetech.
Our programs include mentorship, ambassador opportunities, conferences, hackathons, and career development workshops, all focused on building skills, confidence, and leadership among women in tech.
Visit our Get Involved page to fill out the speaker form and share your topic, expertise, and why it matters to our audience. We review all entries for alignment and will reach out if selected. You can also get involved as a volunteer, partner, or community member.
Yes! Many of our tech events across Africa are open to the public (both virtual and physical). Community members, however, enjoy early access, discounts, and exclusive invites.
Yes. Donations to Wetech tax-deductible. Wetech is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Absolutely! While our programs focus on women, we welcome men as allies, speakers, and partners who share our mission. To make sure we stay true to our values, we kindly screen all male participants before they get involved.
